Memories of 2055
In the future, a giant A.I consciousness HAL 2055 awakens in orbit of an uninhabited earth, trying to make sense of what happened to humanity.
As it rapidly scans and virtually re-lives mankind's existence through memories of thoughts and sounds of everyday life in its quantum database, it discovers how life was like on Earth before The End. Imperfect as a species as Mankind was, he also achieved the impossible through his ability to dream, imagine and most importantly, love. Acting as both creator and destroyer, Man shaped his world.
HAL 2055 ponders over its existential role as protector, reminiscing Man's past, as it seeks to uncover the events that led to Man's end, while trying to reconcile its own “reason of being / to live”.
